Skin is one of the largest surfaces of the human body and acne related problems are a pest to deal with and is especially true in the case of girls and pregnant women. There are various reasons for acne outburst like that of hormonal imbalance, genes and the kind of food being taken by a person. The major cause for most of the acne skin problems are due to unhealthy eating habits. A lot of people consume fried and spicy food, not to mention the packs of junk food with processed cheese. They are not only harmful to the interior of the body but also reflect on our skin. An acne diet should consist of fresh leafy green vegetables and lots of drinking water. The skin like any other organ gives away the toxic waste of the body in the form of sweat. They also secrete oil which clogs the pores of the skin and creates black heads which in turn leads to acne. Many of them indulge in having foods that are deep fried in oil and are completely unhealthy. They not only make us obese but increase our cholesterol levels as well. The need to stay clean and have a healthy glowing skin needs a well balanced diet of necessary vitamins and the needed nutrient other than fatty foods to strengthen our body and radiate a glow on to the skin.

Consumption of meat and processed dairy foods can cause over secretion of oil on our face and skin. This may lead to acne skin problems. The toxins that lay inside our body erupt out through our skins and this means that the body needs to heal and there is a lot of waste that is waiting to be cleansed. The first and foremost, the colon needs to be cleansed for having a healthy and glowing skin. There are various herbs and vitamin supplements that help in effective cleansing of the colon. Having phylum husk would do wonders to the colon and in absorbing the fat. It also reduces the cholesterol content of the body thereby aiding in weight control.

Acne diet should include a healthy mix of fruits and vegetables. They would provide the needed nourishment to the skin and provide the glow and heal the acne. A simple and healthy diet is all that is needed to keep acne at bay. Another important thing is to drink loads of water. A person should consume about eight to ten liters of water in a day to eliminate away the toxic waste and to keep the body in a healthy condition. Having a clear face adds beauty to the overall well being of the body.
