Any person may get anxiety and one of the main reasons for the same is stress. Before deciding the Anxiety treatment the cause for it must be analyzed. There are many causes of anxiety but it is believed that it is mainly triggered by anxiousness. Anxiety may be due to stress at workplace, worry, over load of work. In order to decide the treatment of anxiety the main causes that make one to worry must be identified. As the first step a person with anxiety must try to relax and balance the condition. The anti –anxiety and anti- depressant medications can be taken like Benzodiazepines. This medication will help in relieving the anxiety attack to a large extent. But the effect of such medications is only a temporary and the main cause must be found and treated accordingly.

Anxiety treatment can be done in many ways. Not all persons get well with anxiety treatments as the cause of anxiety may be different. Medication is one of the best ways for treatment of anxiety. With proper doctor’s prescription and under proper guidance the medications should be taken. This would help to minimize the side effects and severance. There are alternative ways to treat anxiety including herbal treatment. This method is very effective without any side effects. The herbal treatment of anxiety has been practiced for many years. Practicing yoga and other exercises daily for at least 30 minutes would be effective in reducing anxiety. Yoga is an effective tool to reduce anxiety as it calms the person. In recent years some people have even tried laughter therapy to treat anxiety.

 

Another treatment of anxiety is psychological treatment. This is the most common and an effective way of treating anxiety.  The Cognitive Behavioral therapy is used to treat anxiety without any medications. Deep breathing exercise or diaphragmatic exercise is the breathing technique used for keeping the mind and body relaxed. This exercise will increase the oxygen level in the body and reduces the chemical imbalance. This technique of breathing exercise has proved to be the best and effective way to reduce anxiety. The complementary therapies are used for restoring the strength and health of the body like massages, tuina, acupuncture, shiatsu, guasa, and aromatherapy. Though these are not the actual treatment of anxiety but will give relief temporarily.

Anxiety can be controlled easily by just identifying the main cause triggering. The root cause once found can be then solved by the individual himself without any medications. Apart from medications, exercises and breathing exercises, mediation has also proved to be the best one to cure anxiety. Meditation will first help a person to be calm and relaxed by mind.
