For blood disorder symptoms, you cannot specifically talk about any single symptom; it is usually associated with a group of symptoms such as a decrease in red blood cells (also known as anemia), a decrease in white blood cells (also known as  leucopenia) or it can be also a decrease in number of platelets (also known as) thrombocytopenia. For instance, a person who feels tired, weak and experiences difficulty in breathing may have anemia. Whereas a person who has persistent fever and infection many be suffering from less count of white blood cells. At the same time any person who bleeds or bruises easily may be suffering from too less platelets.

Only in rare case, symptoms of blood disorders may be associated with increase in blood cells. There are cases where people with thickened blood due to increase of red blood cells or white blood cells may show symptoms of short breath, constant headaches, dizziness and confusion. It should be known that thickness of blood can also be due to increased production of immune-related proteins. Even disorders in substances which helps in normal blood clotting can lead to insufficient clotting of blood or in also in few cases to formation of abnormal blood clots. It could be as a result of the body failing to produce enough of those elements which helps blood clotting.

Doctors rely on laboratory tests of blood samples to get to know about the cause of these blood disorders. And the most common blood test performed is the blood count which is an evaluation of all red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. It doesnt take a lot of time to do these tests thanks to the fast automated machines.

There are different types of blood disorders like anemia, acute myeloid leukemia, B symptom - which is fever and loss of weight, and blood hammer - characterized by sudden increase in blood pressure. Also, cholemia - which is caused by the presence of bitter-tasting fluid from liver in blood, black fan anemia - which means having less number of red blood cells, hemophilia - where the blood fails to clot, and hemolytic anemia - which is related to abnormal breakdown of red blood cells, are types of blood related disorders.

Whatever be the cause for disorders in blood, the treatments given for the disorder in blood depends on the type of blood disorders symptoms.
