It is not easy to find causes of depression, but still we are going to make an effort to do so. Some factors are the basic cause and there are some other factors that can aggravate the already existing depression intensity. Varies from person to person and how they feel about certain feeling, emotion, discussion, issue etc. It is about people’s responses and reactions which can’t be foretold most of the times. It can also be described as, sudden change of temperament from being happy to becoming sad, and lonely. Depression is a state of mind that takes a toll on your heart, your social bonding, your lifestyle, your mannerism, and you’re over all personality. At one point of time, we all experience this state of being.
Depression is known to have been caused by multiple reasons, at the same time or one after the other. This can stay for a longer period, which means depressed state of mind could go on to be like that for days at a stretch .The victim who is depressed is greatly affected by it , but also those who are his loved ones. It is imperative to try to study various multifaceted causes of depression. In the absence of causes that surely are responsible for depression, most of the experts are of the opinion that multiple factors combine together to make someone depressed. Just as a depressed person looks so different to a happy person, similarly, a depressed mind has a complete different look to that of a person who has never been depressed in life. Abuse – is one factor that contributes to depression causes, immensely.
This can be abuse in any form, social, mental physical or emotional. An episode of disrespect and torture connote easily written off. It lingers on in mind for a long time and reoccurs just when it gets triggered off by some similar incidence or interaction. Something that happened in the past, which you cannot get over, or which happened to you but you could not share it, or talk about it all these years, for fear of rejection, can also be a cause of depression. Certain medications are known to depression causes namely "Beta Blockers". These are used to bring high blood pressure under control, or reserpine. Conflicts are another major cause of depression. These can be between family members, friends or colleagues.
Death too can cause depression; especially of someone who least expected or someone very close to you. There are other events on larger scale that can leave sad memories and become causes of depression, like divorce, bad marriage, broken relationship etc. Personal problems too, have their bit to contribute towards this state of mind. Social isolation, family boycott, serious illness, genetics –where one finds history depression running in the family, etc can cause great grief and shock your senses.
