Flu which is otherwise called as influenza is the acute respiratory infections as the result of different types of viruses affecting the body. There are many types of flu present but not all the flu causes the same symptoms. Some type of flu causes mild symptoms whereas few other types cause severe symptoms and pushing the patient to dead. But in common the symptoms for the major types of flu are the same like fever, headache, soreness and muscle ache. The flu viruses enter the body of a person through the mucus membrane of eyes, nose or mouth. This is mainly spread through touching the items that an infected patient touches or through air. Therefore it is always suggestible to keep the hands clean by properly washing with soap and water which is the first precautionary step to be followed.

Flu type is generally classified in to A, B and C type of flu. The type A and B flu causes annual influenza epidemics which makes about 20% of the population to cough, ache, sniff, and have high fever. The symptoms of these two flu types are little severe. But the type C flu causes less severance and mild symptoms. Every year on an average flu is killing about 36,000 deaths in the world. In order to avoid this condition the seasonal flu vaccine is created and used for eliminating this disease.

To know about A Flu type, this virus is very capable of infecting both the humans and animals. But it is very common with humans and they suffer with the ailments that are related with this Type A flu. The main hosts of this flu are the wild birds.  This types of flu is majorly responsible for large epidemics of flu and it keeps changing. Another type of variant of flu is the A2 virus which is spread by people who are infected already. The main spreading spot of this virus are the surfaces touched by the infected person.

The B Flu type is not like the A type flu and this is found only in humans and not in animals. This may cause less severe symptoms and the reaction is also less when compared to Type A. but still it can also be harmful leading to an extreme condition. This virus flu will not cause any pandemics and there is no any sub classification for this B type flu. The C Flu type is also found only in humans but they are milder as compared to the other two types of virus A and B.
