Gallstones are usually found in the gall bladder and the bile produced by the liver. Most of the gallstone types cause jaundice and create obstructions in the exocrine system. The size of the gallstones may be small as a speck or even as the size of a small ball. Usually both the gallstone types occur as a single stone or is a combination of various deposits of stones. Most of the medical reports suggest that the causes for gallstone formation are weight gain or excessive weight loss. The pigment types of gallstones are formed by being anemic. These stones can be detected once they reach a considerable size.

Doctors usually suggest homemade remedies for flushing out the gallstones, and other treatment methods include ursodeoxycholic acid.
