It is found that though every type of heart disease has different symptoms but the warning signs may be similar. There are many types of heart disease like coronary artery disease, heart attack or myocardial infarction, arrhythmia's and fibrillation. Some of the symptoms of heart disease for the coronary artery disease include shortness of breath, faster heart beat, palpitation, dizziness, weakness, nausea and sweating. Chest pain is the most commonly found symptoms in the patients. The chest pain may cause heaviness, aching, burning, discomfort, pressure, squeezing and fullness. This may sometimes be mistaken for the heartburn. The pain may also be felt in arms, throat, back, neck and jaw apart from chest.
The heart disease symptoms for heart attack include heaviness, pain in breastbone, arm, abnormal blood pressure and discomforts. The discomforts may also radiate to jaw, throat, and back or in arm. There may be also choking feeling, sweating, vomiting, and dizziness experienced. The patient may go extremely weak; get anxiety and shortness of breath. There could also be irregular heartbeat. These symptoms may last for about 30 minutes during the attack. Initially it will start mild and will lead to significant pain. Some may also get heart attack without any symptoms. This happens more often in diabetic patients. Once a person is suspected to have the symptoms of heart disease then immediate medical attention must be given in order to reduce the risk of critical condition and damage of heart.
Some of the symptoms of heart disease for Arrhythmia's which causes abnormal rhythm include palpitation which causes a feel of skipped heart beat, dizziness, pounding in the chest, fainting, fatigue and shortness of breath. Though it may resemble other heart disease symptoms it differs with its causes and risk factors. The heart disease symptoms for Atrial fibrillation which is a type of arrhythmia include a fluttering, racing or sudden pounding feeling in the heart. They may feel tired and feel lack of energy, dizziness making the patient to feel light headed or faint, discomfort in chest and shortness of breath. A person suffering from the disease many have all or just one of the symptoms.
Some of the other types of heart disease include valve disease, heart failure and congenital heart defects. Heart disease may also occur in children and infants. The symptoms of the heart disease include cyanosis which is a bluish tint to lips, fingernails and skin, rapid or fast breathing, poor weight gain, poor feeding, recurrent lung infections and inability to exercise or do any regular activities. These symptoms once noted must be given immediate medical attention otherwise it may lead to critical condition resulting in death of the infant or child.
